FRANCESCA CORNIA MODONI

Since I was young, physical activities have always been very important to me, especially horse riding which I practiced from the age of 6 to 22, and rock climbing that I started at 22 and still practice today.

In high school I chose scientific studies, but then I attended the Academy of Fine Arts for two years.

Finally, I found the studies that really fascinated me: the Natural Sciences.

I graduated from the University of Bologna in 2000 (cum laude).

After two semi-annual postgraduate courses of specialization, I worked for 5 years in a environmental protection agency. This is still a central point in my vision of the world and one of my priorities.

During my university years, I approached the Yoga of Master Baleotti, but it was only in 2003 I started a teacher training of Hatha Yoga.

As the Fine Arts had helped me for my work as a naturalist, studies in physiology and anatomy helped me understanding the influence of postures on the human body.

I graduated in 2006, even though I started full-time teaching in 2005.

I continued training courses (5h30/week) until my departure to France in 2013.

My training was also enriched by three-day intensive courses with Master Baleotti in 2006, 2007 and 2008. During these courses, in addition to daily 4 hours of Hatha Yoga, we mainly treated Osho's Mindfulness Meditation and Dynamic Meditation methods.

Each year, I also attended the National Yoga Teachers Workshop organized by the UISP, which takes place in Modena.

During my teaching experience, I taught students aged 11 to 96 years.

I had the chance to follow for two years Michele Cicognani (who won in 2012 the Speed Skating World Championship) and Lorenzo Cassioli (a World Junior title and an absolute European Speed Skating title).

In 2008, I published the book "Yoga Parinama - Journal of Instructor Lessons by Master Bruno Baleotti - 2005-2006 and 2006-2007".

On April 6, 2013, shortly before my departure for France, I participated in the demonstration of the Parinama school at the Martial Arts World Championship in San Marino.

Finally, in 2014, my husband Luca and I opened the Parinama Yoga room in Fontainebleau ... the rest is recent history!
