CLASSES

Our classroom accommodate a maximum of 12 pupils.

This limited number of students allows the teacher to follow each pupil individually

with personalized explanations and recommendations.

Classes are designed especially for regular students,

as the maintenance of one's body and self-awareness is an on-going lesson.

However, drop-in students are welcome for an initiation class to discover our discipline

or to learn an alternative approach to their current practice.

 

Our method allow postures to be adapted to each person.

Our props and personalized advice allow students of all levels to join at any time of the year.

Children can participate in our classes from the age of 11, when the endocrine system has fully developed.

We insist that their participation in classes should be a free choice and not an obligation made by their parents.

Each group class lasts 75 minutes.

During the first 15 minutes students can use the facilities to warm up before the main class starts.

It is strongly recommended to take advantage of this opportunity to minimize the risk of injury.

Classes are conducted in French, but students who speak Italian and English can also follow in their language.

OUR CLASSES

PARINAMA YOGA

Hatha Yoga Parinama classes represent the heart of our weekly program. Two teachers alternate during the week, offering a diversified and complementary approach to the same method.

PRANAYAMA ET MÉDITATION

We will organize courses where the execution of the postures will be supplemented and enriched by theoretical teachings and exercises of Pranayama and Meditation.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

To follow the course, it is better to dress comfortably (a jogging and a t-shirt will be perfect); working barefoot is preferable, but, if you are chilly, you can use socks (if possible non-slip socks).

It would be better if everyone had their own mat and their own belt, but if you don’t have one,

we can give them to you for the first few sessions.

You can find in the Center all the other tools necessary for postures.

Cours de «Yoga de l’Alignement» 
 

Les lundis soir de 18h00 à 19h00

Ce cours a lieu tous les lundis soir en périodes scolaires,

de 18h à 19h – prière d’arriver 10 à 15 minutes avant le début des cours; porter des vêtements à la fois souples et près du corps pour que l’ajustement dans les postures soit visible.

Vous voulez vous initier au « Yoga de l’Alignement » (initiation préparatoire vers le Yoga Iyengar), ou maintenir une pratique régulière après l’avoir découvert ?

Je donne des cours de niveau élémentaire, pour un tarif très modique (5€ par cours, tarif découverte jusqu’à nouvel ordre…).

Il s’agit d’un Yoga qui prône en son principe l’alignement du corps dans les postures. On peut y apprendre ou perfectionner les postures parfois à l’aide de supports (de «props») et même parfois s’aidant mutuellement.

L’objectif essentiel est celui du yoga en général: s’équilibrer et se stabiliser même dans la mobilité, allonger le dos et le buste, ouvrir et délier le corps et la cage thoracique pour favoriser la respiration – et, ultimement, «suspendre les agitations du mental».
