OUR APPROACH

Our method ‘Parinama Yoga’ means "change".

Fundamentally Yoga leads to noticeable body and mind improvements.

The first change, the simplest, occurs at a physical level. Thanks to the postures (āsana) learnt, all muscle groups strengthen and at the same time, soften. Oftentimes, even top athletes unknowingly suffer from tiredness in muscles they did not even know they had!

These "unknown" muscles are largely those used to maintain correct posture, and thus to engaged prevent the joint wear and tear. These same joints gradually gain mobility.

The benefits of our postures do not stop there. They also have significant positive impact - among others - on digestion, blood circulation, respiration and even endocrine system.

Having a more agile body, deeper and efficient breath, a stronger heart and enhanced overall blood circulation, better digestion etc... can become a reality with a little effort on our behalf.

While working in harmony and respect of the spaces and times of the body, one must be willing to "leave the comfort zone" so that the āsanas can produce their desired effects.

Here far from the image of Yoga portrayed by media: the entire body participates in the proper execution of the posture, and with this so the mind follows.

We explore more than our physical limits in yoga – we also learn to confront our emotional and mental limits too and in the course of doing so learn to listen to our inner selves. We encounter inner qualities and values that can become a surprising source of strength not only for yoga practice but for everyday life too!

As the body softens, strengthens and becomes more receptive to the growing flow of energy, certain stiffness or rigidities - a reflection of our inner state - dissipate.

Now we can accompany students on the path to relaxation, breathing and meditation which makes Yoga a complete body and mind discipline.
